Dear Friends and Patients of Lacey Family Dental,
By order of the governor, all dental offices in our state must be closed until Monday, May 18th, except for emergency services related to dental pain / infection issues. This unprecedented step is to minimize exposure to COVID-19, as well as preserve critical equipment in short supply for hospital staff on the front lines.
For these next two months, Lacey Family Dental will have limited hours available only for urgent issues such as pain, infection, or trauma. We will be contacting all scheduled patients to postpone treatment and cleaning appointments.
If you find yourself having a dental emergency, rest assured that we will take care of you. Availability will be several hours daily from Monday through Thursday (phone/email coverage starting 10am), every week until the mandatory closure is lifted. Please call and leave a voicemail at 360-459-1600 or email team@laceydentist.com. Exams and necessary treatment will be done by appointment only.
We have taken numerous steps to protect staff and patients, including increased sanitation measures and protective equipment, temperature screening, and requesting that extra guests wait in their car after check in. Most importantly, if you have been or think you have been exposed to, or have any possible signs of, COVID-19 (fever, aches, or coughing, even if the source is not immediately thought to be infectious) we ask that you self-quarantine per CDC guidelines.
This is an unfortunate time, finding ourselves needing to ration equipment and care. But we are committed to serving you through it, keeping patients out of overburdened hospital emergency rooms, and making sure none of your lovely smiles suffer any harm. Most of all, we find ourselves looking forward to when things return to normal.
Until then, please take care, wash your hands, then brush your teeth!
-Dr. Persinger, Dr. Whisler, and Team
