Our profession means everything to us. We love being dentists, not only for the technical challenges and rewards, but more so because we get to step into many people's lives every day and help them in a very specific way, doing something they can't possibly do for themselves. People feel better overall when they have a healthy mouth; it goes beyond individual teeth. No pain when eating and no embarrassment when talking or smiling is our goal for every patient. We get most excited when somebody comes to us with what they feel are insurmountable needs and we find a way to get their treatment done more easily than they imagined possible.
We feel truly honored that people come to our office and entrust us with their dental health. It is not something we take lightly. We promise that our team will work hard to earn your confidence and respect.

It is exciting to be a part of the technological advances in dentistry and to be able to help people improve their health. We strongly believe it is essential for us to remain up-to-date with the latest products, materials, and techniques in our field. The changes we have seen and will see in dentistry are making healthcare better every year, so we actively pursue continuing education courses, both locally and nationally, in order to constantly improve our services to you.
In the Community
We are happiest when our community is happy, and it's hard to be happy if you are in pain or can't smile! We are both active with the Olympia Union Gospel Mission free dental clinic and also work hard in their amazing annual fundraiser show, along with a dozen or so other awesome local dentists. The 2016 show will be Saturday, October 15th, at The Washington Center in downtown Olympia. We hope to see you there!
Dr. Hamberg is also involved with the University of Washington School of Dentistry as an affiliate faculty member, sharing her knowledge with the future dentists of our state.

Outside the Office
I moved to Lacey/Olympia because I think it's one of the greatest places on earth. I love the people, the land, and even the weather! When I'm not in the office, I like to sing and play guitar, disc golf, Ultimate Frisbee, and hike in our beautiful mountains. I'm also really into local history and old maps of our area, so if you have anything to teach me or show me, please do!

Outside the Office
Away from the office, I enjoy relaxing with a good view and appreciating the trees and waters of the Pacific Northwest. Having grown up in Seattle, I now consider myself lucky to have found a new home in the Olympia area with my fiancé, Shane. We're busy planning our wedding for summer 2017, and I've recently started trying my hand at gardening in the new-found space I have away from the big city!
