We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
Raquel is one of the most caring and compassionate dental hygienists you will ever have the pleasure to be served by. Since starting her dental career as an assistant in 1992, she has found satisfaction in helping patients understand why complete oral care is beneficial to their overall health. Raquel's love of the field brought her back to school, graduating from Pierce College's Dental Hygiene program in 2007 and ultimately receiving her Bachelor of Science degree as well. Outside of dentistry Raquel enjoys spending time with her family, attending her son's sporting events, and finding peace in her flower garden.
Kristin is the other most caring and compassionate dental hygienist you're going to find! How lucky are we? She has also grown in the field, starting out as a certified dental assistant in 2003 and then going on to Pierce College where she was in the same class as Raquel! She graduated there with her degree in Dental Hygiene and followed shortly thereafter with a Bachelor's degree from EWU in 2008, proving that she will always go above and beyond. She prides herself on a thorough yet gentle cleaning! In her free time she can found with her fur-son Cooper (3 year old Shorkie) and other family/friends, and enjoys travelling, SCUBA diving, photography, and singing!
Celeste has been with us since the beginning...even earlier actually, as she worked here for 15 years before Dr. Persinger moved in! She is a beloved and amazing assistant with a true love of making people happy. Celeste spends her free time with friends, her two children, and two grandchildren. She loves boating, fishing, camping, and basically anything that can be done outdoors on a nice sunny day!
Lori's warm manner sets people at ease immediately, and her nearly ten years of experience and dental assisting degree from SPSCC back that up with solid skills. Our patients always appreciate her concern for their comfort. Lori enjoys spending time with her two sons, family hikes, bowling, photography, going out with friends for a nice meal, and of course her two dogs and kitten!
With nearly 20 years of dental office experience, Cheri is amazing at coordinating treatment, figuring out complex insurance, and working within your time and budget needs. Our patients have known her friendly smile for over three years now, and it always puts them at ease. Cheri enjoys spending time outside the office with her two kids and four grandsons, as well as gardening and remodeling her home. Any questions about anything, you can ask Cheri!
Heather is our newest friendly face and will greet you with her adorable southern accent when you walk through the door. She will likely be the one you talk to on the phone as well, figuring out the best time for you to come see us. Heather is matriarch of a military family with twin boys and a husband on active duty assignment. From Kentucky, they LOVE Wildcats basketball as well as hiking, fishing, mountains, and travelling!
Cotton is already excited to meet you...she doesn't know you yet, and you may not have agreed to this, but she is already your best friend! Dr. Persinger starting bringing Cotton to work when she was a puppy in 2015, and she was an instant sweetheart for everybody. She is hypoallergenic and non-shedding and wants to lick your face, so feel free to give her a big hug cementing your new friendship!
Sven Anders is a Washington State native and was rescued by Dr. Hamberg in 2013. He is an older yellow labrador who spent ten weeks in training through the Freedom Tails program. Sven is generally known for his mellow demeanor and not having much to say, but his eyes convey a whole lot! His favorite thing is food, and his least favorite thing is getting wet (despite frequent reminders that he is a lab!). Sven hangs out in a quiet part of the office whenever Dr. Hamberg is here...just ask and he'd love to say hi to you!
